A man's Past leads to his Future......
Agent Stone of the Shadow Unit's job is
simple, most days. Work in the Shadows, police his own Kind.
When an unwanted assignment turns out to
be his darkest fantasy from the past, Draven can't help but be conflicted by
the memories of the past and his responsibilities in the future. But his
decision has been made.
The Heart of a woman is Tested........
Jes can't let the tall dark agent back
into her life.
How can she trust any man after what
she's endured? Years of abuse have broken her down and she doesn't have room
for more. The man she turns to for help hasn't abused her physically but he's
tormented her emotionally. A past betrayal left her scarred, but also brought
her life.
Can she accept him into her heart and
trust him again?
One will survive and adapt, the other
will realize hearts can be mended even if it’s a bit too late.
The road to forgiveness sometimes only
brings more pain. Unexpected events set their lives on two separate tracks
leading to one outcome. Lives will be changed and an emotional battle to save
their souls will leave them both trapped and enslaved in their need for one
another.
My rating 5 / 5

Awesome, this book is a pure delight! I
honestly did not expect this kind of story: I subscribed to Tigris's newsletter
on her website and I had the chance to read the first chapter of Enslaved. I
was done; I wanted to know the rest of Draven and Jes's story!
Jes is on vacation with her friend when
she meets Draven. They share a wild night together (They didn't even exchanged
names!) and never seen each other after this one night stand. A few years
later, Jes and Draven will encounter again on a different and peculiar field.
Draven is part of a special unit filled with paranormal agents and Jes is
asking for their protection in exchange of her help to track down a dangerous
vampire who's actually her ex-husband.
Everything in this story is amazing! I
like Tigris Eden style and she knows how to put her readers on the edge! The
suspense around the general plot is unsustainable and I want to tell you why,
but it will ruin everything (or a major part)!
Jes is strong, courageous and a
beautiful woman. I felt a connection with her because she's a smart mouth and
no one does will push her aside! I love her personality and I easily saw myself
in this character!
Draven was also my kind of alpha male:
werewolf, dark but not too much, sexy, nice shape: muscular, possessive of his
mate, willing to give up everything for his female! Yes my kind of PNR male!!!
The plot was super exciting! Finally
something different! It's not that the plot is brand new, but still: refreshing
and unusual, this story was a ''page-turner'' and I thought about it night and
day! We even met new or mixed paranormal creature, even now, I'm not sure about
some of them!?!
The best part was the ending: OMG what
would I give to see this part of the story in real life or in a movie! I just
don't know what to say or words to use to express my feeling when I read the
final chapter! Speechless! LOL

Enslaved is a MUST READ, I think it will
suit every kind of PNR Lover!
Author Bio:

There is really not much to say... I
love to write, read, and listen to music. My attempt at a music career sadly
ended at the Apollo one warm night in May! LOL (Side note: I was not booed just
outdone by two munchkins rapping to Biggy Smalls but they were good!)
Military brat extraordinaire; have
traveled to a lot of interesting places.
The very first time I put pen to paper
in story fashion, was in 6th grade. It was called The Case of the Missing
Pepperoni.
It was a cute mystery where all the
ingredients and shop appliances came to life when the store owner closed up for
the evening.
Sequel: Burned in Shadows

ReplyDeleteAmazing review! I already have this on my TBR, but will move it up the list! PNR is my favorite genre, though I have been reading a little of almost all romance genres lately, PNR is my go to. I love how you describe the characters personalities! Thank you so much for sharing and for the giveaway!
